Pentecostal Temple was my church home from age five until age twenty six. Bishop Joshua A. Ward, became a member in 1980. We met by God’s grace, fell in love, got engaged, then we were married April 24, 1982. Not knowing at the time that God brought our marital union together to begin a ministry. After being
married just six years, God called us both to
pastor. On August 28, 1988, we were ordained by
our organization (Original Glorious Church Of God In Christ).

We spoke to our pastor regarding the work the Lord, had called us to, and he gave us his sincere blessings. I always tell people to never leave your home church the wrong way. Always leave the right way, that the blessings of the Lord, might rest upon your life. On August 30, 1988 Apostolic Church Of God was birth with purpose, and God’s anointing that rested upon our life. In short, we have
bought and paid for two churches.
HISTORY
Glorious greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In early 1987 God spoke to Bishop J. Ward, and Bishop, Dr. K. Ward. After much prayer and many conformations, God ministered to us to prepare for pastoring. I, Bishop, Dr. Karen A. Ward, have been a member on one church, all my life. Pentecostal Temple was my church home from age five until age twenty six. Bishop Joshua A. Ward, became a member in 1980.
